Operating Room Nurse – Days Shift
Location

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Days shift: 8-hour or 10-hour days, 40 hours/week. On-call required for 6-7 shifts/month with weekends every 5th or 6th weekend.
Job Description
The Operating Room Nurse will work with a diverse patient population including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Candidates must have circulating experience and be proficient in a variety of cases including General, OB, Ortho, ENT, Trauma, Plastics, and Ophthalmology.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Circulating experience is required; scrub experience is preferred.
• Active American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Operating Room skills checklist documentation.
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment.
• All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission.
• Permanent address must be included in the submission file, with a requirement for the candidate’s permanent address to be 50+ miles from the facility.
• Request for time off cannot exceed more than 3 days.
