OR RN – Day Shift (3×12 Hours) – 13 Weeks Location Alaska Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3×12 Days, with shift start times varying between 06:45 – 19:15 or 09:00 – 21:30. Weekend coverage is required. Job Description The OR RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative care for patients across various surgical specialties within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility. The role requires a skilled professional adept at handling high-pressure environments and terrains, including trauma cases. Responsibilities • Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care. • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care during surgical procedures. • Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols. • Float to like units as necessary to meet facility needs. • Participate in call coverage as needed, limited to response for call-offs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting. • Must have an active Alaska RN license in hand for auto offer. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and CNOR certifications preferred. • Experience with Epic charting system is required. • Travel experience is required.
