Job Title RN (Registered Nurse), OR City/State: Omaha, Nebraska Shift: 12 Hour Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 03/16/2026 Job Description: The OR RN will be responsible for providing patient care for all diagnoses and ages, including Level I trauma, in a 12-suite operating room. Duties include assisting in a range of surgical procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring adherence to facility policies, including fingernail regulations. Responsibilities: • Manage patient care during surgical procedures across various specialties including general surgery, GYN, GU/Cysto, ortho, neuro, plastics, eye, ENT, thoracic, and endoscopy. • Participate in emergency pediatric cases as required. • Utilize surgical technologies such as the Davinci Robot, stealth, and holmium lasers. • Adhere to call schedule requirements, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday rotations. • Work collaboratively with OR Techs and ensure coordination with the Charge Nurse and management staff during shifts. Requirements: • Must have Level 1 trauma experience and proficiency in all OR services. • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS. • Must pass a pass/fail exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%. • Applicant's driver's license required for verification of 50-mile radius rule compliance. • Compliance with hospital dress code by wearing green scrubs provided by the facility.
