Travel In-Patient RN – Nights Shift

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel In-Patient RN for our Medical unit. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, quick-thinking, and able to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. You will be providing compassionate and efficient care to a diverse patient population alongside a supportive clinical team.
Responsibilities
• Function as the primary care Nurse, assuming charge nurse duties to provide optimal patient care.
• Complete comprehensive initial admission assessments and create Nursing Care plans.
• Provide interventions as ordered by the medical provider and evaluate patient responses.
• Assist with discharge planning and provide relevant patient education.
• Demonstrate the ability to float to areas of need based on patient demand.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska or multi-state licensure in a nurse licensure compact state.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
