Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Assist with outpatient procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments
Qualifications
Education:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)
Experience:
• 2-3 years of prior inpatient nursing experience is preferred
Certification/License:
• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
