How you grow, learn and thrive matters here. • Educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities • Staff Safety (a wearable badge that allows nurses to quickly and discreetly call for help when safety is a concern) • Differentials for night/weekend shifts, higher education, certifications and various lead roles (for eligible positions) • Malpractice liability insurance • Loan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department • EPIC electronic charting system Type of Opportunity: PRN FTE: 0 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Responsibilities: Academic Preparation: * Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO) * Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire * BLS within 30 days of hire * Responsible for walk in and telephone triage. * Coordinates patients care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. * Provides patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken and patient responses. * Responsible for case management based on PCP panels, in collaboration with network providers to include nurse visits, telephone management, etc. * Delegates or assigns aspects of patient care to healthcare team members commensurate with their validated competency to perform the task. * Documentation within scope of practice. * Performs other functions as required.
