Registered Nurse – PACU / Preop
Location

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift with some call on nights and weekends, approximately 40 hours per week.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in PACU and Preop. The ideal candidate will have prior PACU experience and be adept at working with adult patients, particularly in surgical settings. Responsibilities will involve providing high-quality care to patients before and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
• Monitor patients in the PACU and Preop environments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide educational support to patients and families.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in PACU.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
