Job Description
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) – PACU to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to surgical patients. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and ensuring safe, effective postoperative care.
Responsibilities
• Monitor patients during recovery from anesthesia in the PACU
• Assess vital signs, pain levels, and patient responsiveness
• Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
• Identify and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout recovery
Requirements
• Active Hawaii RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• PACU or Critical Care experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay: $60.00 - $64.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
