Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Night Shift Location Portland, ME Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule The position is scheduled for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with occasional on-call weekends. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 23-hour overnight stay unit specializing in Cardiac Cath/EP and TAVR. This position requires vascular experience and is crucial for providing high-quality pre-operative and post-operative care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. • Monitor and manage patients recovering from anesthesia. • Administer cardiac drips and manage IVs. • Ensure effective telemonitoring and EKG interpretation. • Float to Bramhall PACU/IMC/ICU as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • A minimum of 3 years of PACU experience with recent ICU experience required. • Experience with TEE/CV/CATH/EP procedures. • Trauma Level 1 experience preferred. • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. • Ability to read tele strips.
