RN: PCU in Springdale, AR

Travel RN – ACU/Stepdown and TELE Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM. Every other weekend required. Job Description The PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Responsibilities • Provide patient care in ACU/Stepdown and Telemetry units. • Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations. • Supervise and direct personnel delivering patient care. • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • ACLS certification. • BLS certification. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in stepdown nursing. • Ability to float to TELE/MS units as needed.
