Cardiovascular Care Unit Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (12 Hour Nights)
Job Description
This unit specializes in the care of patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF), non-invasive ventilation, and post-cardiothoracic surgery patients. Responsibilities also include the administration of antiarrhythmic IV medications and management of peripheral vascular compromise.
Responsibilities
• Caring for patients with acute cardiovascular conditions
• Administering treatments and medications as prescribed
• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Coordinating care with other medical staff
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• At least 6 months of nursing experience in a cardiovascular care unit or critical care setting
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Active Oklahoma state nursing license
