Job Description
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care as part of our interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit. The nurse must be competent to provide care as the primary nurse in our rural Critical Access Hospital.
Responsibilities
• Deliver nursing care in a critical access setting.
• Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; may be obtained upon hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN
