Registered Nurse – Cardiac Stepdown Float Pool

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Three shifts of 12-hours each, rotating between day and night shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).

Job Description

Join the Cardiac Stepdown Float Pool, providing exceptional care to patients in a dynamic environment at a leading hospital. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as necessary.
• Complete required assessments and documentation accurately.
• Utilize advanced nursing knowledge in managing complex patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in cardiac stepdown nursing.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
