Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Med Surge/Ortho Spine unit. This position requires floating to other campuses, medical-surgical units, and the emergency department as needed. The RN will care for patients in a 36-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-6:1.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med Surg/Ortho Spine patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health records using the Epic EMR system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Degree accreditation must be provided or 5 years of experience is required.
