Night shift: 36 hours, 3×12-Hour (18:45 – 07:15)
Job Description
The Pediatric Chemotherapy Nurse will provide care for children aged 0-17 who are medical surgical patients and require hematology/oncology treatment. The nurse will administer chemotherapy and monitor its effects while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
• Administer chemotherapy and perform IV starts and lab draws.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in self-scheduling.
• Float to PICU and NICU as required, and ensure high standards of patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric oncology.
• Current BCLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• CHEMO experience and certification is preferred.
