PeaceHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department in a Per Diem, Day role in Cottage Grove, Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a supportive, mission-driven environment where collaboration, respect, and compassion are at the core of everything we do. Hourly range is $50.89-$76.33, depending on experience. Per diem differential, as well. What You’ll Do • Provide professional, direct patient care following unit and professional practice standards • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs • Document care thoroughly and accurately • Direct and delegate care to team members based on competence and scope • Participate in safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention initiatives • Maintain and advance your own professional competence through education and development • Perform other related duties as assigned What You Bring Education • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (required) • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) Experience • One year of nursing experience preferred Credentials • Current Registered Nurse license • Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire • ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire Skills • Strong ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development • Commitment to positive patient- and family-centered care • Effective interpersonal communication and team collaboration • Ability to understand and support medical center policies • Basic computer proficiency Benefits For Per Diem Caregivers ( PeaceHealth supports the well-being of all caregivers.
