Registered Nurse – Pre/Post/PACU

Location: Hamilton, Montana | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
Are you a skilled RN with a passion for surgical care and a love for the outdoors? Bitterroot Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pre/Post/PACU team in the Surgical Services Department—right here in the heart of Montana’s breathtaking Bitterroot Valley.

About the Role
As a Pre/Post/PACU RN, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care to patients across all ages and acuity levels. You’ll be instrumental in preparing patients for surgery, supporting them through recovery, and ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional nursing care and evaluate patient needs
• Document findings in the EMR and coordinate care plans
• Collaborate with providers and ancillary staff
• Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN)
• Current Montana or compact RN license in good standing
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of AORN and OSHA standards

Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a surgical setting

Schedule: PRN, as needed
