PICU Registered Nurse Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule This position requires a 12-hour day/night rotation, with a minimum of 2 full weekends per month and participation in holiday rotation. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated PICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric intensive care, providing specialized nursing care for critically ill infants and children. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients, managing ventilators, and administering medication according to established protocols. Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU. • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition. • Administer medications and perform treatments as per physician orders. • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members. • Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). • Current certifications in BLS and PALS. • Active nursing license.
