Position Details • Location: BayCare Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, 5329 Primrose Lake Circle, Tampa, FL 33647 • Status: PRN • Shift: Variable, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM • On Call: No • Always in person The Procedural RN Responsibilities Include • RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards • RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team • RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization • RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned For this position, we prefer at least 18 months of acute care experience with 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PreOp and PACU, or Critical Care. This is a PRN position that will be focused on PreOp and PACU. PreOp and PACU experience is strongly preferred. Certifications And Licensures • BLS (Basic Life Support) • RN (Registered Nurse) • ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department • Preferred Nurse Specialty Education • Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing • Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Experience • Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. • Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
