Responsibilities The Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab) RN specializes in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders, collaborating with cardiologists and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities:Provide care for a designated group of patients during electrophysiology procedures.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-focused care.Assist in cardiac procedures, including:Catheter ablationsPacemaker insertionsImplantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placementsMonitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and administer medications.Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.Educate patients on procedures, post-care, and lifestyle modifications.Qualifications:Demonstrate professional accountability and adherence to regulatory standards.Foster teamwork and align with the mission and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program. Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure. Current BLS certification required at the time of hire and ACLS certification within 18 months of hire. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience in telemetry or related cardiac clinical setting preferred.
