Title: RN – Registered Nurse – PACU “We dedicate our lives to caring for yours” Position Description: RN BayCare Health System is currently seeking a part time Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. The RN Responsibilities Include • Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. • Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. • Professional accountability and development. • Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child. • Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Qualifications Certifications and Licensures: • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required • ACLS Certification is required • Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience • 2 years of RN experience is required. • 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred Specific Skills • Interpersonal skills • Critical thinking skills • Clinical skills appropriate to position Facility: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital Location: New Port Richey, FL Status: Part Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM Shift: Days Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes How often will this team member be working remotely?
