Job Description

The Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care. The RN assists physicians during examinations and procedures while performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice. The role focuses on promoting patients’ independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish care goals, performing a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected.

Responsibilities
• Evaluate assigned patients and plan nursing care.
• Implement and document nursing interventions and care.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications.
• Establish patient care goals in collaboration with patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• 1+ years of experience as a registered nurse.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Associate’s degree and certification as a registered nurse required.
