Summary
Plans, coordinates, provides, intervenes, and evaluates the care of assigned patients based on the treatment plan, nursing standards, nurse practice act, and individual patient needs. Establishes an individualized plan of care for each patient. Provides direct and indirect patient care.
Education
• Minimum Education and/or: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN); or if attended an approved nursing school must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years.
Experience
• One to two years’ experience required. Newly licensed RN may apply but may need to complete appropriate specialty training for the area.
Credentials
• Registered Nurse
• BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross
• Job/department related certification/license as outlined in the specific job description
