Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care/Night Shift Location Maine Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, requiring every other weekend and rotating holidays. Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in a Long Term Care setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform various clinical tasks, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health and well-being. Responsibilities • Conduct patient admissions and discharges. • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed. • Engage in patient monitoring and assessment of vital signs. • Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members. • Provide care for common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, and post-surgical patients. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Active LPN license with IV certification. • BLS certification required. • Experience with PICC lines, G-tubes, and wound vacs is a must.
