12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), with weekends required as scheduled.
Job Description
The facility specializes in short-term rehabilitation with a focus on skilled nursing care. Nurses will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care for individuals requiring IV therapy and rehabilitation services. The environment is equipped to support a range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IVs, PICC lines, and mediports.
• Perform wound care, foley catheter care, PEG tube feedings, ostomy, and tracheostomy care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical team.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT, OT, SLP, and social services.
• Document all patient care activities in the EMR system (Point Click Care).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Current RN licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification prior to the first day of work.
• Experience with IV therapy and managing complex patient conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, and postoperative care.
