Pay Range: $50.00 - $53.00

Responsibilities:
• Direct and oversee daily nursing operations in coordination with the Director of Nursing.
• Supervise and coordinate care among nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary, including IV starts and lab specimen collection.
• Facilitate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of residents' medical status and interventions.
• Effectively communicate with residents' families or Power of Attorneys and attending physicians regarding care updates.
• Ensure timely completion of assessments (MDS) and care plan documentation.
Qualifications:
• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS (or equivalent) certification in accordance with facility policy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a resident-centered focus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Preferred experience in long-term care or skilled nursing environments.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
