Registered Nurse IMC (Neuro Stepdown & Cardiac Telemetry) Location Sumter, South Carolina Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Nights 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) specializing in neuro stepdown and cardiac telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be proficient in managing high-acuity adult patients. Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the IMC setting. • Monitor and assess vital signs and patient conditions, utilizing telemetry as needed. • Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV starts, blood product administration, and central line care. • Manage complex respiratory needs, including tracheostomy care and non-invasive ventilation support. • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. • Be prepared to float to other qualified units as necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a similar IMC setting. • Active South Carolina or multistate nursing license. • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. • Minimum of 1 year experience with EPIC EMR. • Expertise in telemetry and cardiac care, including post-MI and post-cardiac catheterization management.
