Registered Nurse – 23-Hour Observation

Schedule

Night shift: 3×12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. No weekend requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the 23-hour observation unit. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing high-quality nursing care to patients in an ambulatory surgery center and will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including medications, assessments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support patient education and engagement in their care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic charting system.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Active South Carolina or Compact RN license.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Prior experience in an ambulatory/inpatient setting is preferred.
