Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent (Gold Standard) customer service. Cardiac Surgical IMCU Department Overview: This unit 24-bed unit provides high-acuity cardiac care for pre and post-cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, and other cardiac-based procedures and treatments. Dedicated to high-quality care, patient outcomes, safety Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN Required, or MSN Certification/Licensure: Virginia RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible. All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
