Hyattsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Wound Care Nurse Full-time DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conducting wound assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, and recommendation of the appropriate wound dressing • Provides patient, family and staff education regarding the prevention of pressure ulcers and therapeutic support services. • Collaborates with clinical staff, physicians and other members of the treatment team to provide the patient with the highest quality and most appropriate wound care. • Perform additional duties assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. • Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive wound management • Knowledge of principals of infection control.
