Our client is currently seeking an RN
Responsibilities
What are the top responsibilities for this position (Please be as detailed as possible as to what tasks will be conducted daily):
• Responsible for providing patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documentation of patient information to include vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, and interventions, including IV therapy and drug administration.
• Prepares patient for exam, notes and documents responses to interventions, and confers Provider.
• Anticipate provider needs for patient exam or treatments, such as setting up for pelvic exam, or minor procedures, as well as ensuring the patient disrobes as appropriate. Ensure the provider is assisted with in-house procedures.
• Provides clinical intervention such as drug administration, treatments, IV Therapy, and procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Initiates clinical follow-through for patient care services, i.e., lab, x-ray, pharmacy, referral, and telephone communication.
• Delegates and assists co-workers with duties, including but not limited to floating to other areas.
• Responsible for compliance requirements such as laboratory QC management, waive testing, maintenance of the crash cart, and narcotic count, as well as other requirements dictated by clinic needs.
• Responsible for maintaining required licensure and certification.
Must have qualifications/experience: 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ER or hospital setting.
What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart: Knowledge of EPIC EMR, oncology, and blood transfusions
Type of certification required: RN state License, ACLS, BLS, PALs
