School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Brockton, Massachusetts in Abington, MA

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a healthcare professional to support a K-12 school environment in Brockton, MA. This role is ideal for a Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Nurse (RN) seeking to apply clinical skills in a school setting, particularly working with medically fragile children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the current and head RN with daily clinical support tasks.
• Manage medical instrument sanitation and organization.
• Provide care that includes G-tube feeding and tracheostomy (trach) management.
• Take on responsibilities related to the head RNs desk duties, including documentation and coordination.
• Support health services delivery to students with complex medical needs.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Hold certification as a Medical Assistant or valid RN license.
• Experience or comfort working with medically fragile pediatric populations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle clinical equipment maintenance.
• Capable of working collaboratively within a school health team.
