School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Camden, New Jersey in Camden, NJ

A Certified School Nurse is needed to support a Middle School serving Pre-K through 8th grade students. This contract position will cover a leave assignment from January through June (second semester) and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The role is located in Camden, NJ. Key Responsibilities • Provide typical school health office nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and health screenings. • Manage student health records and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents regarding health concerns. • Collaborate closely with an onsite Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will assist with daily tasks. • Monitor student wellness and respond promptly to minor health issues; no severe or specialized medical needs are anticipated. • Ensure compliance with school health policies and promote a safe, healthy school environment. Qualifications • Current certification as a School Nurse (Certified School Nurse credential required). • Active and valid RN licensure. • Experience working with school-age children from Pre-K through 8th grade preferred. • Ability to work independently while collaborating with school personnel and nursing staff. • Strong organizational and communication skills.
