School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Fresno, California in Calwa, CA

A healthcare professional is needed to provide registered nursing support at an elementary school in Fresno, CA, on a contract basis for the current school year. This role is designed to cover for an RN going out for a few months and to assist with initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) assessments at the preschool level. The position requires availability for approximately 16 hours per week, ideally spread over two full days.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing services onsite in an elementary school setting.
• Provide coverage for the existing RN during their temporary absence.
• Assist with conducting initial IEP evaluations for preschool students.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California.
• Experience in school nursing or public health nursing preferred.
