A registered nurse is sought to provide specialized care for a student with seizures within a K-12 school setting in Gardiner, ME. This contract opportunity offers a supportive environment where your pediatric or school nursing experience will directly impact a student's daily health and safety. Location: Gardiner, Maine Position Type: Contract (CSY) Schedule: Approximately 24 hours per week (Exact days to be confirmed), 8:30 AM 2:00 PM Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one nursing care to a student with a seizure plan, ensuring safety during her school day • Assist the student from bus pickup through the school day, including mobility support using a drop harness and helmet supervision • Monitor for seizure activity and respond according to established health protocols • Collaborate with school staff and family to maintain consistent care and communication Desired Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) license required • Experience in pediatric nursing or school health settings strongly preferred • Ability to manage seizure care and emergency medical response in a school environment • Strong observation and communication skills to support the students individual needs This position offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful, hands-on nursing care in a school environment, supporting inclusive education and student well-being.
