An opportunity is available for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide essential healthcare support in a K-12 school setting in Goleta, CA. This contract position, effective ASAP with a start date of June 3rd, 2026, offers approximately 3 hours per week on a flexible schedule that can be distributed throughout the week or consolidated into a single day. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct a comprehensive triennial reassessment for a student with medical needs. • Develop and update detailed health care plans tailored to the student's requirements. • Coordinate and support the medical aide assigned to the student. • Meet in person with the student and parents at least once to address medical concerns and ensure effective communication and care coordination. Desired Qualifications: • Valid LVN license and current certification. • Experience in school nursing, preferably in a K-12 environment. • Strong knowledge in case management and conducting thorough medical assessments. • Effective interpersonal skills to liaise with students, parents, and school staff. • Ability to work independently and adapt hours flexibly to meet the students needs.
