A full-time Registered Nurse with school nursing experience is needed for a contract position in a K-12 school setting in Merrimack, NH. This role focuses primarily on providing individual nursing services to a student with complex medical needs. The assignment is scheduled for the current school year, starting ASAP and continuing through June 2026. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to students with complex medical conditions • Provide critical care nursing services within the school environment • Manage a flexible caseload primarily at the middle school level, with potential assignments across other grade levels • Accompany students during transportation to and from home via bus in the mornings and afternoons • Collaborate closely with school staff and families to support student health and safety • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively regarding student care needs Qualifications and Experience: • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with demonstrated school nursing experience • Strong critical care skills required to manage complex medical needs • Ability to adapt to a flexible caseload across various grade levels • Comfortable with transportation duties involving riding the bus with students • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school personnel Location: • Merrimack, New Hampshire (serving K-12 students with a focus on middle school) This contract role operates Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, aligning with the school transportation schedule.
