School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Rochester, New Hampshire in Berwick (CDP), ME

A licensed RN or LPN is sought for a middle school assignment supporting a 1:1 male student with Type I diabetes. This contract position spans the current school year, with work Monday through Friday during school hours and bus riding responsibilities. The role requires flexibility for early mornings and afternoons due to bus schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care to a student with Type I diabetes
• Administer medication and monitor blood glucose levels with expertise and care
• Collaborate closely with an RN (if LPN) for supervision and coordination of care
• Support students health and safety during bus transit to and from school
• Communicate with school staff regarding the student's health status and needs
• Maintain thorough and accurate health records

Qualifications and Experience:
• Current RN or LPN license for the state of New Hampshire
• LPN applicants must have training or experience managing Type I diabetes and be willing to work under RN supervision
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Ability to manage bus riding responsibilities safely and reliably
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to student health and confidentiality

Contract Details:
• Position duration: through June 15, 2026 (current school year)
• Full-time equivalent, weekdays with early start (approximately 6:30 AM) and afternoon end (approximately 2:30 PM)
