School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Sanger, California in Centerville, CA

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential school nursing services at an elementary school in Sanger, CA. This contract position supports a school district needing temporary coverage due to an RN absence, with additional responsibility assisting with Initial IEP assessments at the preschool level.

Responsibilities include:
• Providing nursing care and support within the school setting
• Assisting with Initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) assessments for preschool students
• Collaborating with school staff and families to ensure student health and safety
• Managing student health records and medication administration
• Supporting health education and promoting wellness programs in the school environment

Qualifications and desired experience:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with school nursing experience preferred
• California School Nurse Services Credential is preferred; the district can assist candidates in obtaining this credential if not already held
• Ability to cover approximately 16 hours per week, ideally over two full days during the semester
• Previous experience working in elementary or preschool settings is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on collaboration and student advocacy

Location: Onsite position in Sanger, CA, at an elementary school

• Duration: Immediate start through June 4, 2026
• Part-time hours, approximately 16 per week with a flexible schedule to meet district needs
