School Health Nurse - RN or LPN
Join Our Team of School Nurses!
We are actively seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to become part of our school nursing team. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing care to children with special needs.
As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for the care of students with diverse medical requirements, including those using ventilators, trachs, insulin pumps, catheters, and those requiring tube feedings. Your comfort in managing these cases is essential.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• A physical examination completed within the last year
• PPD test results from the past year (a chest x-ray may substitute if results are positive)
• Current CPR certification
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting for background checks
Work Schedule:
• We are looking for full-time, part-time, and per diem nursing positions.
Compensation:
• LPN: $25 - $35/hr.
• RN: $40 - $45/hr.
