This opportunity is for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential 1:1 support to a 4th-grade student with a seizure disorder in an elementary school setting. The position offers a full-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM with no student transportation required. Responsibilities include closely monitoring the students medical needs, which involve managing a vagus nerve stimulator (VNS) and being prepared to administer emergency seizure medication as trained. The CNA will be cross-trained by the on-site RN to ensure full competency in medical procedures. Aside from medical duties, the role also involves providing paraprofessional and classroom support as needed throughout the school day.
