Job Description

Assistant as part of the team, if so, we?d love to meet you! The Head
Start School Nurse is a compassionate, organized, and energetic
professional who helps keep our children healthy, safe, and ready to
learn. This role is all about connecting with children, families, staff,
and community partners?while leading the health services component of
the site with confidence and care. What You?ll Do Be a friendly, trusted
health presence for children, families, and staff. Keep health records
organized and up to date, including screenings, immunizations,
follow-ups, and data tracking(details matter!). Partner with families to
support healthy habits, answer questions, and connect them with helpful
resources. Collaborate with teachers, family advocates, administrators,
and community health providers as part of a strong, supportive team.
Coordinate health screenings, referrals, and follow-up care with
community partners. Promote wellness, safety, and infection control
throughout the program. Participate in team meetings and planning
conversations focused on the whole child. You?re a Great Fit If You?

Requirements at employment: All candidates must undergo a background
check where applicable; prior to beginning employment. RN Desired, LPN

suitable candidate found. Valid MA state driver?s license. Candidates
must be at least 18 years of age to apply, and speak and understand
English.
