A K-12 school district in the Allentown, PA area is seeking experienced RNs and LPNs for a contract position during the 2025-2026 school year. This opportunity offers full-time hours supporting students in Bucks County with specialized healthcare needs. Positions Available: • Full-time 1:1 RN in Hilltown Area providing proactive respiratory care, suctioning, G-tube care, catheterization, and accompanying students on bus rides • Full-time 1:1 RN in Langhorne Area supporting suctioning on an as-needed basis, tube feeding, seizure management, and bus accompaniment • Per diem itinerant nurse covering the Doylestown surrounding area as needed Responsibilities: • Deliver nursing care to students with tracheostomies, ventilators, gastrostomy tubes, and other medical requirements • Collaborate with school staff to ensure safe transportation and classroom integration for medically fragile students • Maintain accurate health records and communicate with parents and healthcare providers • Respond promptly to emergencies and adhere to individualized healthcare plans Qualifications: • Current Pennsylvania RN or LPN license • Experience in pediatric and/or school nursing preferred • Comfort and proven skill working with trachs, G-tubes, vents, and bus riding • Ability to work independently and manage complex medical needs in a school setting Location Details: • The positions serve various locations in Bucks County including Hilltown, Langhorne, and Doylestown surrounding areas, though the institute managing the positions is based in Doylestown This contract position requires candidates to submit a comprehensive application including: resume, proof of active licensure, two completed nurse supervisor reference checks, and interview availability.
