A temporary Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to provide essential school health services at an elementary school in Clovis, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to support student health needs during the current school year, covering short-term staffing gaps and assisting with Initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) assessments at the preschool level.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional nursing care to elementary school students, including health assessments and management of chronic conditions.
• Provide coverage for an RN on leave, ensuring continuity of health services.
• Assist with Initial IEP evaluations in the preschool program, collaborating with educational and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school and state policies.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families regarding student health concerns.

Qualifications:
• Valid RN license with experience in school nursing preferred.
• California School Nurse Services Credential is highly desirable; the district is willing to support obtaining this credential if needed.
• Ability to work onsite approximately 16 hours per week, ideally over two full days.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a school setting.
• Commitment to student health, safety, and education.

Duration: Contract through 06/04/2026, with immediate start available
