A Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for an elementary school setting in Coventry, RI. This part-time, contract position involves providing health services to elementary-aged students during the school year, with an expected assignment from ASAP through June 20th. The nurse will support a single school and work approximately 20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: • Provide care and first aid for students as needed throughout the school day • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school protocols • Maintain accurate health records and report any concerns to school staff and families • Collaborate with school personnel and supervision staff such as paraeducators or CNAs • Assist in emergency response and ensure compliance with school health regulations Qualifications: • Valid RN or LPN licensure required • Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred • Ability to work effectively with children and school staff • Strong communication and organizational skills • Willingness to complete any required onboarding, including fingerprinting and training processes This role offers the opportunity to impact student health in a supportive elementary school environment.
