A part-time nursing position is available supporting a 1:1 preschool student with complex medical needs, including NG tube care and seizure management. This role is located in an elementary school setting in Exeter, NH, and requires flexibility to provide care during Tuesday and Thursday mornings from approximately 8:00 to 11:00 am. The nurse may also be required to accompany the student on the bus. Key qualifications and experience: • Valid New Hampshire nursing license (RN preferred; LPN considered at district discretion) • Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing, particularly with medically complex students • Skilled in managing tracheostomy care, feeding tubes, seizures, and other specialized pediatric health needs • Ability to work safely and compassionately in a school environment • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational staff and families Responsibilities: • Deliver direct nursing care to support the students health and educational goals • Monitor vital signs and medical devices, administer medications as prescribed • Facilitate safe transportation by potentially riding with the student on the bus • Maintain accurate health records and documentation • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and family members to ensure coordinated care • Stay current with medical protocols and training relevant to the students condition Position details: • Contract role through the current school year, ending June 15, 2026 • Part-time schedule: Tuesday and Thursday mornings, approximately 8:0011:00 am • Anticipated start mid-February, pending delivery of essential medical equipment This opportunity offers meaningful work supporting a young students health and classroom participation.
