A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available supporting K-12 students in a specialized school setting focused on educating children with visual impairments. This contract position, based in Glen Burnie, MD, provides essential nursing care in an educational environment, contributing to the health and well-being of students throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide skilled nursing care tailored to the needs of K-12 students, including those with visual impairments
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies
• Monitor and document students health status, responding promptly to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students health goals
• Assist with lifting and physical support as required, with ability to push/pull 100+ pounds and lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-12), preferably in a specialized educational or clinical setting
• Ability to work an evening shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Friday, 12:45 PM to 3:45 PM
• Physical ability to perform lifting and moving duties in compliance with job requirements
