School Nurse Contract Position

Provide essential nursing care and support to students in an elementary school setting during a maternity leave assignment. This full-time, contract role requires dedicated school nursing professionals who can manage student health needs effectively while collaborating with educational staff.

Location: Hopkins, MN Duration: March 10, 2026 - June 5, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing services to support student health and safety.
• Manage health care plans and provide direct nursing care, including assessment and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.
• Collaborate with a team that includes 1.5 Licensed School Nurses (LSN) and 1 health paraprofessional to maintain a well-functioning health office.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and health providers to coordinate student care.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
• Current and valid RN license with credentials to practice school nursing.
• Experience in school nursing preferred, particularly within elementary school settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and professionally within an educational environment.
