Job Description
A dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to support the health and wellness of students within a K-12 school setting in Medina, OH. This contract position is available for the complete school year (CSY), providing essential nursing services to promote a safe and healthy educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and management of health conditions
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community
Qualifications:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience working in school nursing preferred, particularly within a K-12 setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
