A Registered Nurse opportunity is available working within a middle school setting in Wake Forest, NC. This contract position offers full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with a duration through June 9, 2026. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of middle school students with complex healthcare needs, including students with tracheostomies. The role requires providing skilled tracheostomy care, developing and implementing Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) or Plans of Care (POCs), and conducting thorough health evaluations and assessments. The nurse will provide supervision and guidance to mothers, nursing staff, or other medical personnel involved in student care. Successful candidates must hold current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are not eligible. Experience in school nursing and care for students with tracheostomies is essential.
